Monteverde USA^® Super Mega™ Abalone Collection Limited Edition features a highly iridescent inner layer of mother-of-pearl made from authentic abalone shell from New Zealand. Abalone shell was traditionally used as a decorative element in jewellery, buttons and as marquetry in furniture and musical instruments. The inner abalone shell is a swirl of intense colours, from deep cobalt blue and peacock green to purples, creams and pinks. The hand-turned and polished body reflects the shimmering light from the surface, highlighting the stunning colours of the abalone shell. The product is packaged in an elegant case.
